Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital

Established by Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji, the Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital (SSCASR) aims to blend traditional 5,000-year-old Ayurveda with modern medicine. With campuses in Bengaluru (est. 2004-2005) and Cuttack (est. 2019), the institution provides high-quality Ayurvedic education (BAMS), research, and NABH-accredited healthcare, focusing on holistic healing and community service.

Key aspects of the institution's history and growth include:

  • Visionary Roots: Established under the Art of Living foundation, the institutes aim to create a stress-free world through holistic health practices, bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and contemporary medical tools.
  • Bengaluru Campus (SSCASR): Located near the Art of Living International Center, this institution was the first ISO-certified (9001-2015) Ayurvedic college in Karnataka and is highly ranked (7th in India, A-grade by QCI). It offers BAMS courses and operates a 268-bed multi-specialty hospital with advanced facilities like Panchakarma, Panchabhoota therapy, and modern diagnostics.
  • Cuttack Campus (SSU): Inaugurated on January 2, 2019, at Sri Sri University, Odisha, this campus features a 100-seat Ayurveda college and a 300-bed IPD hospital, focusing on serving rural and socio-economically backward regions.
  • Holistic Education and Care: The institutions focus on training skilled professionals with a sympathetic heart, providing treatments including Ayur-Naturopathy, Osteopathy, and specialized diabetes management.

The colleges are known for their strong emphasis on research and integrating traditional methods with modern scientific diagnostics.
