 By Air: Trivandrum International Airport (TRV)

 Location: ~6 km from city center

 Domestic Connectivity:

  • Regular flights to/from major Indian cities:
    Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata

 International Connectivity:

  • Direct flights to:
    Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Muscat, Singapore, and Colombo
  • Serves as a major hub for Gulf-bound travelers and Kerala’s diaspora

 Tip: Taxis, auto-rickshaws, and app-based cabs are available outside the airport.

 

 By Train: Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station (TVC)

  • Major railway station with connections to almost all regions of India
  • Trains run regularly to/from:

 Tip: Book your tickets early during festivals or peak seasons (Oct–Jan, April–June).

 

 By Road: Well-connected Highways & Bus Services

By Bus:

  • KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) and private buses connect Trivandrum with:
    Kochi, Kollam, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Nagercoil, Bangalore, Chennai
  • Options include deluxe, AC, Volvo, and sleeper coaches

 By Car or Taxi:

  • NH 66 (Mumbai–Kanyakumari Highway) and NH 44 make road travel easy
  • Ideal for scenic coastal drives from nearby towns like:
    • Kovalam (15 km)
    • Varkala (50 km)
    • Kanyakumari (90 km)

 Tip: Roads in Kerala are well-maintained but winding—drive cautiously, especially during monsoon.
