By Air (Nearest Airports)

Idukki doesn’t have its own airport. The nearest airports are:

1. Cochin International Airport (COK) – approx. 95–140 km
   • Nearest major airport with domestic & international connectivity
   • Well connected to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Dubai, Doha, etc.
2. Madurai Airport (Tamil Nadu) – approx. 140–160 km
   • Good option for visitors coming from southern Tamil Nadu

From the airport: You can hire taxis or take KSRTC buses to towns like Thodupuzha, Munnar, Thekkady, or Kattappana.
