Durgapur is an important railway junction on the Eastern Railway’s Howrah-Delhi main line, making it one of the busiest railway stations in West Bengal.

 From Delhi (16-18 hours):

  • Take NH-19 via Bardhaman
  • Buses available: SBSTC, WBTC, Private Volvo buses

 From Asansol (50 km, 1 hour)

  • Take NH-19 via Dhanbad

 From Ranchi (240 km, 5-6 hours)

  • Take NH-18 & NH-19 via Bokaro

 Tip: Volvo AC buses from Kolkata (Esplanade) are available for a comfortable journey.

The nearest airport is Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport (Andal Airport, RDP), about 15 km from Durgapur.

 From Kolkata (30 min flight)
 From Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore (via Kolkata)

 From Airport to Durgapur:

  • Prepaid taxis & app-based cabs available
  • Airport buses to City Center

 Tip: For better flight options, fly to Kolkata Airport (CCU) and take a train/bus to Durgapur.
