Tezu is a picturesque town located in the Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Serving as the district headquarters, it is one of the oldest and most significant administrative centers in the state. Situated at an elevation of 185 meters (606 feet) above sea level, Tezu lies on the banks of the Lohit River, a major tributary of the Brahmaputra.
