  • December to February: Best for trekking and visiting Dong Village for the first sunrise in India.

  • Tezu Airport (TZU): Limited flight connectivity (Alliance Air operates flights).
  • Dibrugarh Airport (160 km): Best option, connected to major Indian cities.
  • From Dibrugarh, take a taxi or shared cab to Tezu (4-5 hours journey).

 By Train

  • Tinsukia Railway Station (180 km) – Well-connected with Guwahati, Delhi, and Kolkata.
  • From Tinsukia, take a bus or shared Sumo taxi to Tezu (5-6 hours).

 By Road

  • Well-connected via NH-15 & NH-513 to Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, and Roing.
  • Public Transport: APST buses and shared taxis run from Tinsukia & Roing.
  • Private Taxis: Best option for comfortable travel.

Road Safety Tips

✔ Roads are hilly, winding, and prone to landslides—drive carefully.
Avoid night travel due to fog, sharp turns, and wildlife crossings.
