✅ Valid Government ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)
✅ Passport-size photo

 Protected Area Permit (PAP) – For Foreign Tourists

✔ Required for all foreign nationals visiting Arunachal Pradesh.
✔ Available from:

• Foreigners Regional Registration Offices (FRROs)
• Arunachal Pradesh government offices

Naharlagun does not have an airport, but it is well-connected by road & rail.

✔ Hilly terrain – Roads are steep, winding, and prone to landslides.
✔ Avoid night travel – Roads are poorly lit, and fog can reduce visibility.
✔ Hire an experienced driver – If renting a car, ensure the driver is familiar with mountain roads.
✔ Keep extra fuel – Petrol pumps are scarce after Naharlagun.

 Recommended Route from Guwahati:
➡ Guwahati → Tezpur → Banderdewa → Naharlagun (Approx. 10 hours drive).

 Best Transport Option:
✔ Take a shared Sumo (SUV taxi) from Guwahati (₹700-₹1200 per person).
✔ Take a train to Naharlagun Railway Station, then a taxi into town.
