Traditional Attire

Hindu Goans:

• Women: Saree (especially Nav-vari or nine-yard saree) and Pano Bhaju (traditional festive dress).
• Men: Dhoti, kurta, and sometimes Pheta (turban) during rituals.

Christian Goans:

• Women: Gowns or western-style dresses; Mundo (veil) during church events.
• Men: Western-style trousers and shirts, especially for church and formal occasions.

Festive Attire often blends Indian and Western styles.
