Travel Permits & Regulations

For Indian Citizens:

• No special permit is required for visiting the Andaman Islands.
• Certain tribal areas are restricted, and unauthorized entry is prohibited.

✅ For Foreign Travelers:

• A Restricted Area Permit (RAP) is required (issued on arrival at Port Blair for free).
• RAP is valid for 30 days and can be extended by 15 days.

 Prohibited Areas: Nicobar Islands & Tribal Reserves are strictly off-limits for tourists.
