2️ Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram (UNESCO Site)

Built by the Pallava kings (7th–8th century CE), Mahabalipuram is a masterpiece of rock-cut architecture.

  • Arjuna’s Penance – One of the largest rock relief carvings in the world.

3️ Nilgiri Mountain Railway (UNESCO Site)

  • Built by the British in the 19th century, this railway connects Mettupalayam to Ooty.
