  • Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, Kohima: Perched on a hilltop, this magnificent cathedral is the seat of the Diocese of Kohima and a major landmark.2 It's known for its unique architecture that incorporates Naga traditional motifs and houses one of Asia's largest crucifixes (16 feet high).3 It was partly funded by Japanese people as a monument to soldiers who died in the Battle of Kohima during WWII, symbolizing peace and unity.4
