 Visiting the Matrimandir

• • • General visitors can view the Matrimandir from a designated viewing point after collecting a free pass from the Auroville Visitors' Centre. Access to the inner chamber for meditation requires prior booking (in-person, usually a day or two in advance) and a specific slot. Strict silence and dress codes are observed inside.
