Major Tribal Communities in Rajasthan

Approximately 13.5% of Rajasthan’s population is tribal (as per Census 2011). Major tribes include:

1. Bhil Tribe

• Largest tribal group in Rajasthan.
• Mainly inhabit Dungarpur, Banswara, Udaipur, Pratapgarh.
• Traditionally hunters and agriculturists.
• Known for Ghoomar dance, archery, and Bhopa songs.
