• • Distribution: Have a significant rural population in Daman and are also found in parts of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Maharashtra.
  • Art Form: Most famously known for Warli painting, a traditional art form characterized by simple geometric shapes (circles, triangles, squares) depicting scenes from daily life, nature, and tribal rituals. While not as prevalent in Daman & Diu as in Dadra & Nagar Haveli or Maharashtra, their presence contributes to the cultural fabric.
